Why We Participate in the Race Against Hunger:
VNA Philadelphia provides care to approximately 1,200 patients per day through home health and hospice. The vast majority of our patients are low-income and food insecure. As such, VNA Philadelphia began a partnership with Philabaundance Caring for Friends and others to provide our clinicians with fresh produce to be delivered directly to patients! We are participating in the 2021 Race Against Hunger to raise awareness and funds for our food insecure patients and our growing pantry!
